Voice of Blood 2: Searching for Selden

Antonis Tony Angastiniotis more than a director is a peacemaker that had the courage to expose crimes committed by his own community (Greek) against the Turkish Cypriot community during the 1974 war in Cyprus. Tony was attacked by the Greek Cypriot media and death threats are part of his daily diet, nevertheless he has become a strong voice of peace and reconciliation within his community. In one of his interviews when asked about the attack by the nationalists media he said, “All this trash they throw against me will one day become a platform for me to speak to the country, the more trash the bigger the platform”. The documentary reveals the mass execution of civilians, mainly woman and children, by Greek nationals during the second intervention of the Turkish army. After 30 years of silence eyewitness of the event talk to the camera and reveal how they survived. If for no other reason this documentary is very important for those interested in the Cyprus history. It reveals the atmosphere of hatred that existed in the island those days.

Warning: 18+ very graphic scenes. 48min.

Maybe this video can shed light and answers on the facist people on this forum and the properganda of G/C running in their minds.

Im not trying to stir up debate here but hopefully if It can help people here change his/her thinking you may look forward than backwards for both communities.

The sad thing is there are people that call the Turkish invasion a "peace operation".

When the Turks invaded Cyprus in 1974 they killed many 1000s of innocent Greek Cypriots, who are still found in several mass graves around the island, raped underage girls and ethnically cleansed 100s of thousands of Cypriots in order to achieve partition as they had planned it since the 1950s.

After the Turks started to kill, rape and ethnically cleanse Greek Cypriots by the 1000s and 100s of thousands, a couple of 100 of Turkish Cypriots were murdered as well by some thugs in what they thought would be a reprisal to the crimes committed against Greek Cypriots by Turkey and TCs.

Unfortunately some TCs here are very selective. They are quick to condemn the murder of a few 100s of their own, but at the same time they excuse the Turkish invasion, the murder of 1000s and the ethnic cleansing of 100s of thousands of Greek Cypriots.

The way forward for Cyprus is the same as it is for every other country: Democracy, equality of all citizens without racist discriminations and without segregation, and the respect of the human rights of everybody. If Cyprus was allowed to have this from 1960 then we wouldn't have a Cyprus Problem today. Unfortunately some insisted then, just like they insist today, in racist discriminations, segregation and division and the results of their racism are well recorded in our history.

Again!

If Turkey is so concerned about her people, why doesn’t she just pick up her troublemakers and take them home?
