Conor really asked for it and got exactly what he deserved! I would've done the same thing under the circumstances. The conviction is no Big Deal!

Goodness only knows what you'd do then if a crooked bloke stole your home from you and made your wife and kids homeless.

And how can anyone manage such a feat if it were not for Conor's incompetence and stupidity?

By being total criminals. Violent ones at that.

Are you saying that all CGs were merely stupid and incompetent in 1974? Not that I'd necessarily disagree with that from what I've observed over the last 8 years.

So, If I come around and bash you up, does this mean I can "steal" your house?

Where do you live?

Isn't that what you Cypriots have been claiming for 36 years?

I live in Warwickshire, bordering the Cotswolds. Lovely part of the UK.

It's really is amazing how Karayiannis will get off again with a mere slap on the wrist!

The home was never Conor's to begin with which is why Karayiannis cancelled the contract and offered him a refund!

Yes but there you show your own stupidity and ignorance.

You cannot cancel such a contract unilaterally and you most certainly cannot award yourself damages. They never offered a refund as has been shown in court.

Conor was the owner then and he remains so today. Your Minister of Interior says so. His contract remains in the Land Registry.

If some woman has paid in full for a property she knows she can never own and then gone on to put her money at risk by continually claiming to only be renting then more fool her. Karayiannas don't have a very good record for refunding money they've taken from people. If the time ever comes that she needs to try to get her money back she'll have to stand up in court and admit that she was lying and say that she wasn't renting after all and was in fact committing perjury when she said she was renting.

Anyone with half a brain can see that she is lying. Who in their right minds would carry on renting a property when they face jailtime for doing so? Not as if there is any shortage of rentals around is it?

Seeing as her husband was still alive when she proudly announced that "we are No 30" we have to assume his name appears on any documentation appertaining to it. She'll have some difficult questions to answer if it isn't.

Anyway toodlepip for now. Things to do and all that.

If so, imcco, what a very nasty peice of work you are.

I would do anything to protect my wife and kids!

Conor was clearly unstable and posed a risk to the Karrayannis Family! Firthermore, there is no evidence whatsoever that Karrayannis hired a thug!

Did C pose a threat of violnce - he may have been abusive but I am not sure he offred violence - Karyannis evidently posed more of a threat by carrying out a premedeitated assult.

who was the third person convicted? what had C done to him?

Conor thought he could see an opportunity to capitalize on the increase of property prices, he imagined that he was dealing with 'Simple Country Folk' (or country mouse) whilst considering himself to be a 'City Slicker'. (or town mouse)

He gravely insulted those he thought he was superior to, copped a bloody good hiding for his insolence and vulgarity (thoroughly deserved and less severe than his behaviour warranted) and embarked on the campaign of defamation which may yet prove to be his own nemesis.

The courts have dealt with the retaliatory violence (rather harshly IMHO) and the legal system has permitted an appeal since the 'Baying Hounds' are not satisfied with the outcome of the trial, they now await the results of the appeal hearing, salivating at the prospect of seeing long term gaol sentences imposed (due for some disappointment IMHO) whilst Conor himself should be more concerned with the outcome of the proceedings which will surely follow, when the damage to the integrity of Cyprus and it's businesspeople will be assessed.

End of the line...........It is entirely possible that the 'Criminal Convictions' will be quashed, Conor will end up with the 'Arse out of his trousers' and 'JUSTICE' will be seen to have been done.

Money cannot buy love BUT, the thought of it can certainly whip up a storm in the minds of those who seek to 'Outfox the Fox'. (IMHO)

I can't believe the amount of folks on this forum that think it is OK to resort to such violence. That it is justified to ram into a car, pull the person concerned out and then 3 against one beat someone up. Especially when they have already notified the police and are awaiting their arrival.

You are trying very hard to excuse such behaviour but you simply cannot. It is the behaviour of THUGS. What sort of world would we be living in if everyone decided to take the law into their own hands and decide on the punishment to be delivered?
