The turkish cypriots has became a minority even in the northern part of the island. Settlers behave as natives, and many indigenous express daily their desire to move to the south. Turkish media hide or are censoring the fact that since 2004, about 22.000 turkish cypriots fled the north and and residents the areas near Paphos and Limassol. More then 1.000 of native turkish cypriots are working in the public sector, many of them in EU branch offices located in Cyprus. I dont know why these news are not told to turkish people. I believe that the two communities can solve their issues by their own, they dont need any advisors from turkey or greece, or the UN. If we wanna contribute to their efforts, we have to think more progressive instead using and abusing the cyprus issue for bilateral relations between greece and turkey

I finally found your above quote, but I was also interested reading the main comical article on the same link you gave above, regarding "Turkish Cyprus declares EU report ‘upsetting’". What I find most interesting about the so called leaders in the "trnc" is, that they can't even take care of themselves, but they think they can try to act on behalf of Turkey and become Turkey's mouth piece to the EU, as if the "trnc" is in the EU.!

For one thing… atrocious spelling/grammar for an English newspaper!

Like I often say… they’re great for lighting up the barbecue! :D
