I know who these individuals are that killed innocent Tcs in my parents village but they are hiding in southern Cyprus but one day they will have to pay for their barbaric and guttless deeds .

Every family should of course have closure and if no family of the decease is alive today even friends of that family should also have closure to take it even further the public should have closure. Without closure our wounds are left open.

Right, and how is that closure suppose to come about if some of you are troubled by such discussions?

To be honest your not going to find the answer here as I stated earlier if I had a map to know were they are then I go with you and find them and give you that closure but unfortunately not that I know everyone on this forum but I don't think you will find the closure here that your looking for.

Now of course you will have your views and I will have my views of events in Cyprus and the dilemma we are in today. Defendent and Plaintiff arguements.

See this is a problem too in our communities we should be working together demanding for these people to be found and laid to rest so we can continue to work together and not allow tragic events of the past to come back and haunt us. To me I believe politicians are looking at the Cyprus solution the wrong way but thats my view.

The killing of innocent civilians is a crime against humanity,no matter who does it...It must be condemned without any qualification...

But how is this thread helping us get closer to a solution???

Where is the closure for the victim's loved ones?

That's right, you lost 200 odd in 1974 while the Turkish military were advancing when a GC paramilitary group in revenge rounded up, shot, and buried civilians at random in 3-4 mainly TC villages. They have since been found, dug up, and I presume ceremonies have been held for them by TCs. (see documentary posted elsewhere)

However, the great majority of GC victims (thousands) we know absolutely nothing about, hence this thread in the hope that someone can shed some light.
