Do yourself a BIG favor and don’t post unsubstantiated rubbish you read on TC propaganda sites, when responding to me.

Although GR is a idiot at times, are you any better? Didn't you post that Asil Nadir used to be one of your customers?

Here she goes again, she says :

Cyprus is in a state of war, with a ceasefire imposed by the UN.

Then she says :

The UN came in 1964 at the request of Makarios

So was it (a) imposed or was it (b) requested ? It makes a world of difference. Clue : answer is (b)

I see I have to repeat myself because you are incapable of reading a whole sentence! Here it is again, with memory aids ...

They came in 1964 at the request of Makarios (keep reading) because of the first (failed) invasion attempt by Turkey. No one was fooled (keep reading) that there wasn't going to be another attempt so there was no reason to leave. (keep reading) As we saw, within a decade, the Turks were back in full(er) force and since they still occupy Cyprus (keep reading) and keep it in a state of war, the UN continues its presence to maintain a ceasefire pending a peaceful solution. (keep reading) There is no 'solution' because we are still at war! (stop reading)

Oracle there is NO WAY Turkey could have invaded Cyprus in 1963 or 1964; They had NO landing craftto achieve this invasion. A few jets flew over to stop the GC attacks, but that was all. When they saw the deficiencies in their invasion force they then began collecting Gold and funds to build landing craft for future use.

Still, the IDIOTS tried! I KNOW! Napalm and bombs!

Are you regretting their failure in 1964?

Aeroplanes are not an invasion. Sorry about the napalms. Should not be used against civilians; better still, wish there was no fighting at all.

I am fed up with repeating myself. I was dead against any invasion from day one; get it?

OK

I'll go along with the preposition but wish to add the following people to the "list of undesirables" for internment -

Ginger people
Scots
The guy who didnt put any jam in my donut
Chelsea fans
Taxi drivers
People who eat kippers\arbroath smokies or similar on airplanes
The cast of eastenders or any soap
Freckly people
The whole board of Mcdonalds
Tree huggers

Oh I could go on and on and on
