The finest weather in Europe, seasons that are characterized by their own unique persona, springtime announcing the start of summer, autumn leaves to remind us of the coming winter, some of the most hospitable and friendly people on earth, excluding GR the Plonker, a wave of the arm that tells you so much, a few unique to Cyprus phrases such as " exathiken o kosmos koumbare, " ekopsa mesa gamoto, " "me mou zalizis ta rchidia"
All very colloquial and widely used sentences. Each morning when I'm in Limassol, round about 4 to 4.30 am I take a walk to the Cafe, open 24 hours a day, have my espresso and tiropitta and wait for the anglers to arrive on the pier opposite, promising my self not to mention the amazing sunrise since all old boys fishing are sick and tired of listening to me, small talk, a few jokes and the morning is well on its way to lunchtime, but not before I discuss the merits of living in Cyprus.
