Jack Straw utters the TRUTH

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby apc2010 » Wed Nov 10, 2010 2:41 am

William Straw - Son of Labour Foreign Secretary, and former Home Secretary - Jack Straw, was cautioned by Police for drug dealing, amid a frantic Government attempt to cover up the matter and gag the media as to his identity. Jack Straw also has a brother who was convicted of a sex attack on a schoolgirl. Lovely family!

Yes Birk - I was reading about this yesterday. If you go to the Chatham House website where it is reported, you will see it specifically mentions his efforts to reunify Cyprus, something that is left out of some of the external reports:

http://www.chathamhouse.org.uk/events/s ... rize/2010/

Mr Gül has worked to deepen Turkey's traditional ties with the Middle East, mediate between the fractious groups in Iraq and bring together the Afghan and Pakistani leaderships to try to resolve disputes during 2009. He has also made significant efforts to reunify the divided island of Cyprus and has played a leading role, along with his Armenian counterpart, in initiating a process of reconciliation between Turkey and Armenia.

Malta?

Gained its independence in 1964. Brit troops left in the 70s.

Which Brits have got to get out of Malta?

Or are you, like others on here, insisting that, even tho' Malta is in the EU (as is Cyprus) all Brit EU citizens should leave?

Can we make a comparison between Spain/Gibraltar and TRNC/RoC?
I think Spain joined the EU well before UK so, knowing there was a dispute between UK and Spain over Gibraltar, why was UK admitted to the EU without "giving back" Gibraltar to Spain?
Serious question requesting serious answers, please.
