ANADOLU JET HAS BEGUN FLIGHTS TO LONDON STANSTED AIRPORT

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

No one on here is going to believe that ANY flights have ever left the UK and landed in Ercan without stopping off in Turkey. But it has happened. And it has been reported and written about on the web.

Usually some 'technical' or 'weather' reason given as to why they cannot stop off for the 20 minutes or whatever it is.

Passengers were asked beforehand if any of them actually wanted to GET OFF in Turkey.

Believe what you want to believe. That's the safest way!

How many have you personally been on?

What's the point of backing up somebody else's unsubstantiated claims with your own unsubstantiated claims!

Mind your own business Lady O. I don't answer to you. How about YOU backing up some of your outrageous and unsubstantiated claims and outright LIES about me? All of which come from your own warped mind borne out of frustration that you cannot find any LEGITIMATE criticism?

well if they have to give an excuse and fly directly thats still not direct flights, have there been any flights where it was advertised as direct flights to north cyprus and actually happened? this is just something to make the turks feel better like there is direct flights to uk, but obviously the uk would not allow it...

A few years ago, after the crossings opened, some crafty TC tour operators in the UK advertised "Direct flights to North Cyprus" and gave the usual flight times. What they failed to say in their advertisements was that the flights were to Larnaca and the transfer added another hour or so to get to "Northern Cyprus". A complaint was made to the Advertising Standards Authority and they were told to withdraw the misleading adverts.

Such is the fate of an illegal "embargoed" state, they couldn't even tell lies and get away with it.

Even if direct flights were granted they could never implement them because their pilots are too thick to fly straight anyway!
