Secret talks to "unblock" Turkey's EU path

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Now that foolish CF Turks are better informed about the realities of Turkey, they can laugh with us when they read this...

It’s laughable for a 3rd world country like Turkey, on the brink of bankruptcy in 2000, and resurrected by EU countries via generous trade and loans to reach her current acceptable state, to now assume that she is some kind of economic and/or military superpower that a 14 trillion dollar EU wallet would need!

But such is the gene of the infamous Turkish stupidity which you no doubt have inherited!

How stupid are you have you not seen the news on what is happening in Greece and will continue for many years. Before you say anything about Turkey's economy check out Greece. And if you dont care about Greece economy than I dont think RoC economy is anything to stand on to condem Turkey's economy.

Greece is irrelevant here. We’ve already dealt with her in plenty of threads!

Now here’s a reminder from 2002 of who resurrected Turkey from collapse…

Cyprus lends Turkey £8 million
http://www.cyprus-mail.com/cyprus/cypru ... -8-million

…that’s right, even little Cyprus did her part via the IMF in those days!

Now go suck an egg!

I'm not sure if you understand how the IMF works think of it as a bank with over 180 countries contributing into a fund the IMF then distrubutes the money in need to those countries. It is the IMF that dipped and picked 30 countris including Cyprus fund to provide the portion of 12 billion dollars which it needs to pay back anyway. You make it seem like Cyprus delegates went to Turkey and gave 8 million pounds in their hands.

Think of it as like a donation organisation many people donate their own money and then the donation organisation distrubutes the money were it is required i.e Hospital. But the people dont have a choice where exactly they want their $2 to go thats up to the donation organisers. Get It?

Yes they may have given money to Turkey but it was through IMF find me an article that shows anyone from Cyprus saying we want to help Turkey pleae give them the 8 million. Then I might consider shutting up.

Nikos Sampson states quite clearly
According to the Greek daily newspaper Eleftherotipia, which interviewed him on February 26, 1981, he said, “Had Turkey not intervened, I would not only have proclaimed Enosis, I would have annihilated the Turks in Cyprus as well.”
It's a funny state of affairs when you're a community that does not remember the past for us to move on.

It’s even funnier when you go on and on about ONE MAN’S alleged claims to excuse your very real HORRENDOUS CRIMES of 1974!

How about TWO MAN'S claims
Demetris Christofias a few months ago in US which sparked outrage in Greece and G/C because of his comments. Shall we continue to find a Thrid Man.

Alleged CLAIMS do not kill people, it is ACTIONS that do!

So I don’t want to hear any more of your pitifully daft Turkish excuses such as “He said and she said!” to justify the murder of 5,000 people and ethnic cleansing of 185,000!

SO GET LOST!

Tell me when you remove the blinders (blinkers/winkers) then we can talk I think you been wearing them for too long now.

excellent quote by the French MEP

" you don't have a bi-lateral problem with Cyprus, this is a problem that Turkey has with the union by not respecting the European union."

Asked to comment on Erdogan's comment that the EU will never be a global actor without Turkey, he laughed and said "thats not a way to conduct politics"

 priceless.
