The provocateurs are just as guilty

Guilty of what? Wanting to move freely within their own island? A "crime" punishable with the death penalty?

You are the only one here who is excusing the murder of innocent unarmed people using such a lame excuse.

It is not their island, should be clear, thought there was a sign or something there...

Thats funny because you have also found the Mavi Marmara a provocation, when they were just people who wanted to "move freely" and take some aid to other people.

Cut the double standart bs Piratis.

I know this might be a lot to ask from you, but just use some common sense and try to think, what could that mob possibly have achieved by forcing themselves into a military zone?

Peace? Unification? Global awareness (they got that alright)?

Absolutely fucking nothing!!!

Headed by the Greek Resistance Movement, a group of protestors had been on their way to the town’s Ayios Lazaros area in a march they had arranged over a month ago to protest the government’s migrant policies.

The protestors came into conflict with members of KISA, which had decided to hold the Festival in Larnaca – instead of Limassol, as was initially planned – in a bid to hold an “anti-demonstration” to counterbalance the nationalists’ march.

KISA head Doros Polycarpou said his NGO had asked the police to divert the protestors’ march so that it didn’t pass by the Rainbow Festival.

If they didn't want the protesters to pass from their festival then why did the change the location of their festival and placed it in the path of the protesters? I think the facts show clearly who are the ones who choose confrontation.

So, you are saying that this TC singer, decided to take on the Nazi mob, so he actually requested to be located on their way?

Really?

The fact that the police did nothing is just the icing on the cake...

No "TC crowd" shot anyone, a police officer did.

As opposed to "GC crowds" executing innocent civilians.

The TC Nazis (more than 150) beat to death Isaak and attacked many other people, and your "police" not only "did nothing", but they participated in the beating. It is all well documented with videos and photos.

I don't see anyone getting shot.

Why were these people here in the first place?

Provocation maybe?

Why wasn't Solomou 'arrested' but beaten to death Shah. Surely the actions above are unacceptable. Arrest the 'wrong-doers' and then release them to show good-will. If we behave like animals we deserve to die like animals. All this violence can be avoided. But I must admit that I am surprised at the RoC inability at crowd control.

Citing what happens in the north doesn't help Piratis. The RoC should know better as the 'legal' authority in the south.

What the fuck are you talking about? That's one of the sickest excuses for absolving responsibility I have ever heard.

The TC singer was not alone. He was along with a mob of his own and if you read the article it is clear that it is his mob who choose confrontation.

Why are you supporting Turks and illegal immigrants? Why did you throw chairs, I saw you on the news on RIK.

i dont support turks and illegal immigrants i just dont agree with the way the gcs tried to deal with this, with violence and putting tcs in the hospital... it gives them partitionists excuses and reason to say look we need two states they will kill us if united.. there are better ways to deal with it. and voilence is usually what the turks rely on to get what they want violence and threats... why sink to such a low level?

shame on the gcs who use violence against tcs for any reason

Shame on who ever uses violence against the TC's and immigrants for any reason..... we have witnessed many times these kind of the actiones all the time in the control of the ''ROC''........ Thanks god that in our side we are (TC's) are very sensible towards the GC's....since gates are opened we are always well come them and trying to communicate and work with them always....Always having respect and understanding their losses and trying to find better ways how to live together and share this island with them as a equal humanbeings.

These kind of fascist acts are only helping to open gaps and hate between peoples.......... there is no excuse for such a things............

All the patriots of this forum, hand in hand with the sick racists. Not a single word of condemnation and sotos says that we should lay flowers in the path of these "people", rather than confront them. I pity those who tried to soften the issue by comparing it to similar events of 1996 when the brothers-in-hate fascists from the other side committed the crimes against Solomou and Isaak.
