More question about Internet Connection (UK):

Can I get more than a 2mbit line (what I currently have) with BT in the UK? I would like a 8 Mbit line.

This might be better via PM but as it's been asked here now I will answer it here - it might be of some use to others.

The simple answer is no you can not currently with BT. You may be able to get more with other companies (Bulldog, easynet NTL or telewest) but it depends on where you live. Bulldog and easynet currently have very limited coverage. The cablecos have better coverage but the limits of NTL's net connections are mentioned in the other internet thread here.
