Turkish businessmen: “We’re in the wrong side!”

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Get Real! » Sat Nov 06, 2010 3:50 pm

It has gradually sunk in that Turkey doesn’t have a choice but to gradually embrace the RoC and it is happening in the weirdest of ways!

Turkey's "non recognition” thing is symbolic that only seems to be used in CyProb issues.

ie:

Last week, Turkey’s EU representative (can’t remember his name) was in Nicosia hugging and kissing Greek Cypriot politicians!

Yes, it makes you (us at least) sick to the stomach but such is the reality of this complex and bizarre world! :?

Dont you kiss before you fuck?

The patriotic ones go all the way round via Athens while a smaller number of losers go via “Ercan”.

They are booked as guests at the Hilton (which I’m told is in the square (or close?) to where the bombing happened the other day).

One guy also says that he run into Davutoglu at the main entrance and was pushed aside by one of the security men!

Now, that's a class act for the security men to push Davutoglu out of the way to make room for your friend to pass through.!

Who says Turks can't be nice to the GCs.!

Did not know GC's could travel to Turkey...

Shah, my twin sister who has been living in Turkey for the last 37+ years was complaining like hell about the amount of money Turkey is spending in the "trnc" for the public sector's retired employees, which was 3 times greater than what the Turks get in similar position in Turkey. She was furious, because while the north was getting money from Turkey, people in Turkey has been dividing between not rich and poor, but between those who can afford to eat meat and those who can't afford to eat meat. The cost to buy an animal for slaughter has gone up to 45 Turkish Liras (about 22 Euros) per Kilo. People just can't afford to buy meat as before, which has caused price hikes in restaurants, for the locals and for the tourists.

Another sister in the UK who was planning in moving to Cyprus upon building their home there have now decided not to go at all and are complaining that Turkey is ruining the lives of those living in the north by making the north dependent on Turkey's support economically. They don't like how things are going at all, and she and her husband are devout Denktash supporters, poor souls.!

Are you sure it's not a "washing and greasing" operation of those Turkish businessmen in order to make the GC businesmen to contribute the growing Turkish economy?
