That won't shut him up, he will still find something to say! It might involve Osama bin Hiding being caught short or some dodgy messages in Morse code, but he will add more BS to this thread!

I understand that the strike was called off because the proprietors of all the curry houses, kebab shops and chinese restaurants protested and, since the patrons of those establishments represent the majority in the U.K., the firefighters were obliged to capitulate.

Off to a barbecue and firework party now that I am assured of the fire protection the Brits pay through the nose for.

Hope that satisfies CBBB.

As much as I criticize this great nation , UK , I do so from within and because I care , and not as a foreigner who has benefited immensely from handouts , free education in most cases and many other benefits , such benefits as those received by the first class plonkers who got as much as they could get from Britain only to harshly run down the country at every given opportunity.
Not every thing is perfect in the UK , on the contrary much has been sacrificed over the years by incompetent governments who actively encouraged the demotion of our British culture. Foreigners are all too eager to come here , I wonder why , then they turn against the nation.
This plonker by the stupid name of Swashbloodyfool received ALL of his wasted education FREE from the UK , or did he perhaps learn his English in ....Afghanistan !!!
Ignore these minions , ese educated fools they are a waste of space !!

Anyone who really believed that the firemen really intended to strike on the 5th have no clue about PR. From day 1 they had no intention to carry out the threat. Idiots. IMO ofcourse.

Small people envy great nations, as a rule.

If I was to criticise the many wrong doings that Britain is responsible for, I really would not pick something as trivial as firemen striking on November the 5th.

It was as Denizaksulu correctly said, never anything more than a PR exercise.

If you feel the need to "Brit Bash" please pick something worth debating or a topic worthy of discussion.
If you pick something that really needs addressing I'm sure that there would be agreement from all parties, Cypriot or British.
