In 1983, the Turkish Cypriot-occupied area declared itself the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" ("TRNC"), but it is recognized only by Turkey.

So? We occupy the north and you Greeks occupy the south. What is your point?

Where did you read that fool?

Do you occupy the house you live in? Do you get letters from local councils and other official places that just says "to the occupier"? Do you now get my point you village donkey?

One of the many points I'd like to make on my observation of this site is of the "MAP of CYPRUS", how it it is not painted Yellow with the words "The Republic of Cyprus" across it but a couple of notes have been placed to identify the Border, Turkish and Greek Cypriot area and how it DOESN'T display the word "Occupied"! LOL

Maybe that's because your average Yank's brain would go into tailspin if asked to place Cyprus on the map in the first place.

Plus 99.9+% of the rest of the world's population, the majority of who have never even heard of the place.
