Does Lidl sell Cy. products?
Was at Lidl today quit exciting. Was surprised to see Ophanides guys and Metro guys and some from discount shops. Good for them to smell competition. Prices are amazing and can anyone tell me why LIDL can sell O-juice and many other local products cheaper then the other supermarkets???????
I was smiling to myself as I remember that many Cypriots said will not shop there and LIDL got them all.
When I saw the stack up trolleys scared, by tomorrow the shelves are empty but as I know shelves will be full again tomorrow hopefully.javascript:emoticon('')
At one stage the doors had to been closed as the ques on the way out were so long that nobody could walk around anymore. Even some fights started in the ques as some people wanted to skip ques.
Hopefully in the following days business will come down and you can do shopping normal.

By the way to pay for shopping bag is done not to make money it has a other strategy behind. As plastic bags are bad for the environment people are more conscious when they have to pay for it and use less of them and will bring eventually there own shopping basket ore reuse there bags again.

Trendy obviously works for LiDl's marketing department and has spent the last few months wandering around the forums giving ex-pats orgasms about an event they see as akin to the second coming!

palio - Smart doesn't sell 'everything' Lidl sells. Smart doesn't sell fresh food at all in their Larnaca Shop.

I hate Supermarkets! All of them! Starve out the Brits. All the Cypriots should go back to growing their own food and close all the shops! Brits panic; and, mass exodus ensues :D
