This article is saying your ethnic group must sell whether the like it or not to our ethnic group since Turkey was not able to get away with ethnic cleansing for free.

But it does recognize that Greek Cypriots "officially" own 80%. This is basically an acceptance by a Turkish paper that the glorious republic of Turkey committed the war crime of ethnic cleansing.Turkish papers usually use language like "former owners" as if the legal title of refugees has been extinguished.

The primitive comments of Hunni are that the recognized fundamental human rights of refugees can be negotiated or justified because of very specific acts by individuals of that ethnic group. Human rights law and treaties like the 4th Geneva Convention are not negotiable.

So the Illegal Turdland Regime is acknowledging that the dodgy kochans it printed are worthless.

It's also dawning on some people that the last ECHR judgment did nothing to change ownership which stays, as it should with rightful owners, but added rights of homeship.

A little common sense reminder boys and girls that in much of Europe (curiously outside both CY and GB) the most common way of living in one's home is to rent from an owner.

Home and Ownership, .......have a feeling we'll be hearing a lot more of the distinction in the months ahead.

Haven't seen that one B. Can you bring us up to speed on it please. Is this compensation for ownership and/or interference with use?

his lawyer is a t/c ..???

"He said he had filed an application to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), which referred him to the “Commission” in the occupied areas of Cyprus.
Kibris reports that Lordos’ lawyer is Turkish Cypriot Tarik Kadri and that the “Commission” has already paid 45 million Euros as compensation to Greek Cypriots.
Kadri stated that his client believes that a compromise will be reached with the “Commission”.

I assume that Lordos (and any others involved - I read somewhere he was not the sole owner of all the property?) must have been 'advised' not to hold out for anything other than the IPC route?
