Other nations have committed genocides of millions, they traded slaves for centuries, they used to deny to their minorities the right to vote or even the right to speak their own language etc etc and while all those can have today a normal democracy with "Majority Rules" and "Minority Rights", the only ones who can not have it are the Cypriot people?

It is such racist positions like yours which are causing the problems and the divisions in Cyprus. If Turkey and the TCs allowed Cyprus to be a true normal democracy with majority rule and minority rights from the beginning (1960) then Cyprus wouldn't have any of the problems that followed and we would all be better off.

...history may have proven that "Greeks" or "Turks" are untrustworthy, but history has also proven that Cypriots have lived as a socialised People for a much longer time. it is a pity that there were "English" to start this debate with these contemporaries, leaving the Greeks, Turks, or anyone else for that matter, dismissed or damaged, as this island's dwellers.

Cyprus should be free, its citizens Cypriot. Within this State, sustaining Personal identities is possible by adding National Assemblies, another level of Government, as equals representing the distinct desires of their majorities, in support of the Universal Principals that unite them, respecting and recognising the needs of the minorities wthin these electorates.
