This case today was prosecuted not by Conor O'Dwyer, this case was prosecuted by the Republic of Cyprus and the prosecutors office, they thought their was a case to answer and there still is, I believe this case will now go to the Supreme Court, it is not over yet, not by a long way.

Christoforos and Marios Karayiannas are tonight convicted criminals, they always will be, they can never change that, furthermore they have a ten month suspended jail sentence hanging over their heads, would you want to buy a home from a convicted criminal, would you want to experience their unique method of "after sales service" for yourself, I think not.

They are due to appear in court again on five further occasions in Larnaca, with reference to the illegal selling of a house, should this be proved, this can carry a prison sentence of up to seven years, only now they will be appearing as convicted criminals with a suspended prison sentence hanging over their heads.

Duuno what you are on about, about 20%+ of the UK population are convcited criminals, they get by. This will be history in a short time unless they get 'done' further down the line.

As for provocation, well, if publishing someone is an arsehole all over the www, as conor does on his website (as in Kara-ANUS), I would view that as provocation. Not to mention the verbal abuse he gave them.

You could say a non payment of a speeding ticket will give you a criminal record, or lifting a bar of chocolate from a kiosk would do the same. Go to any primary school in the UK and most mums are there showing off their tags around their ankles as if its something of a trophy.

You are trying to make this a bigger deal than it is. OK, so you didn't get the blood you wanted, but you got the guilty verdict which should help you and your merry men to the next stage of the game. Be happy.

what a load of Xenophobic nonsense this person writes: I would however be interested to see where he got some of his stats from about the percantage of crminals in the UK populace, or like so many of the anti connor posts, is he making it all up as he goes along?

Check out your own home office stats.

You just try to make out that Cyprus is unique in sentencing criminals, where as where you come from the matter is even worse, thats the point I am making.

Well the judge interpreted the facts presented - as all judges do - and made a decision taking into consideration 'all' goings on (no doubt). Very strange, though, that appears to be (from what i have heard) no mention of the 'provocation' from the developer to Conor with regards to his property. It would appear the state prosecution (not just his 'fan-base') didn't agree with the charge or subsequent sentence .... there is hope for justice in Cyprus after all.

Is there any truth in the news that the State is planning to appeal both the decision of GBH to ABH and the sentence?

A strong appeal going in tomorrow.

The BHC in Nicosia are also particularly concerned about how British Citizens are treated by the courts here with regard to adjournment after adjourment, and delay after delay which we feel is a very efficient way of draining ones finances in the hope that you will eventually give up and go away. They were very interested in collecting data with regard to this, so if you are in this position then do contact them with solid details, dates, adjourments etc.The UK govt are also following the case.

Money appears more important than fair representation. The larger the Firm, the more money overrides fairness.

Now that is my final word to you O and your dog.

Well I tried, but as per the following link http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p ... pulation_w, the home office do not have the figures, so I repeat my question, where precisely did the figures come from?

On percentages, where would Cyprus be if one included all those riding motor bikes without helmets/licences, who jump red lights, etc,

The staff at the BHC here are too busy partying all the time to worry about anally retentive Brits.
