Lola-Tulip, why should he wait? Why should he retract? His complaint against the government of Cyprus was not about the normal delay in getting a case to court, which you say is two to four years, but that there were indications that the system was being manipulated to deliberately alter the scehdule to his detriment: as his site shows when asked to delay a hearing, he agreed. It was what happened then that that lead to his protest.
No one has contradicted that complaint, with objective evidence, but that is something that no doubt will feature in the next case, where O'Dwyer will have a very public forum to discuss the workings of the court system. No doubt vthe CM will be there to report, along with sections of the British press.
