CF needs new blood, dont you think?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

CopperLine wrote:I agree with fig head's original question. CF CypProb is groundhog day; it is deja vu. The same old, same old abuse by the same old abusers, saying the same old things. If CF is in any way reflective of broader Cyprus life then Cyprus will remain forever divided because certain key people are so filled with hatred that they are blind to any possibility of moving on or trying a different tack.

Although I agree with fig head that new blood is needed, I also think that new blood is not enough. New blood occasionally enters the forum only to be met by a stream of abuse from certain well known bilious individuals if the newbie is even suspected of not towing the orthodox line. Anyone not prepared to put up with what is essentially hate mail leaves the forum or participates infrequently. It is dogs (and bitches) pissing at lamp posts all over again.

And that says it all imo, perfectly.

Cap wrote:Well, I've lost a lot of interest as of late Myself I must admit.
Part of the reason is the relentless bombardment of Anatolian threads and topics. I'm tired of it, as if we Cypriots live and breathe by their every move, as if our existence depends on every decision they make.
We've made them important by constantly fueling the meaningless drivel posted on here.
Since when did it become Anatolian Forum?

Interests and subjects concerning Cyprus should make up 90% of the material posted.

If you care to scroll up at the top of your browser you might be surprised to read 'CYPRUS FORUM'

Here here/hear hear :?

Hear here too. Too many interesting posters with something useful to contribute, from both "sides", have been seen off by the forum fascists and racists. You know who you are, just like the extremists on the island have destroyed Cyprus so you are destroying the CF.

I hope you're not suggesting you're interesting because you're not.

How on earth could my comment apply to me, I'm still here, no one has seen me off.

PS Ever wondered why you are called Yialoser?

it turned out from a friendly thread for you people to be less boring and work out what had gone wrong with out threads and our lovely regular posters to POINT YOUR FINGER thread.!!

i dont get it CF isnt divided to two teams GR and O and the rest.!!

for what it is worth, you cant argue with the smartest two on the forum and moan you cant win over your argument !!

so,you either go hate them for being smarter or most popular than you or change your mind set and learn to accept that there is people smarter than you and better with words than you!!

Ladies of the forum, you know who you are ! please STOP being bitchy and start being the lovely LADIES who you should be !!!

GROW UP , and if you only post on CF to say how bad things is and how unhappy you are with the forum and the posers then CF isnt for you ! but dont drag all of us down !

i once was a newbie and as all other newbies ive gone through all the usual taking the piss comments out of regular posters but then im smart enough to dont let people piss me off and know how to establish my own character without bringing down all the rest..!!

I ♥ CF and hope you too do so let us be the best of us.

No threads go in vain, figgy. All serve a purpose. Communication is good. Live and learn. :D

On this rare occasion I have to agree with Yialoser! :?

Jerry, forever seems to think that he is very interesting but gagged!

A predictable "smart" two liner from the leader of the pack. Incapable of putting coherent arguments across he is limited to "slick and clever" responses and references to UN resolutions etc. Like his mistress he has even had girly tantrums and threatened to leave the forum in the hope that the usual sycophants will implore him to stay.

GR, your remarks may provoke a response, they are certainly not interesting.

The Cyprus Problem is just one section of the forum. The problem in the forum is that some people bring the Cyprus Problem and the Turks VS Greek discussions to other sections either directly or by provoking a response. Certain other trolls also try to create a British VS Cypriots "web-wars", which causes further problems.

As far as the Cyprus Problem goes, the views in the forum reflect the general situation, which is why no solution has been found for decades. You can't have unity and understanding when the aim of one of the sides is partition and division. As the saying goes: "Takes two to tango".

I too would like to see an end to the Cyprus vs Brit arguments as I view Turkey as the number one enemy of Cyprus, today. Britain is a sister EU state that we have to work with in order to bring an end to the occupation.

It's strange how the proGC-Brit posters (RichardB, CBBB, etc) are not specifically provocative to the "Turkish camp" but those Brit posters with Turkish leanings are extremely hell-bent on damning Cyprus as much as possible and provoking the Greek Cypriot sufferers, of past and present war-fallouts, with their irrational opinions. Like the Turks, they don't really love Cyprus for itself but what they can gain from it -- either financially or from some psychological sadistic tendencies.

As for cross-over of topics, it's unavoidable. But Admin/Mods are quite good at swiftly re-categorizing threads, or locking.

Two Brit ladies of the 'Three Graces' happen to live in the RoC. Logic would demand that they should move northwards.

Oracle, why dont you ask for the ban of anyone standing up against anything GC - it seems that will be the only way you will be satisfied.
