Your scenarios, of whether the Bases stay or go, are both false. There is no "Swiss style confederation" whilst they remain and there is no logical reason why GB will recognise an occupied region of the EU as a brand new country if they go.
The fate of the Bases is not inextricably linked with recognition of your illegal occupation as anything but just that -- an illegal occupation, denied even independent trading rights.
