In the ROC you can say anything you want without fear (besides as we said you can do it anonymously ).
Any comments on the article?
Are you sure about this?? kindly recall the run up to the referendum YES voters were afraid to voice their opinions for fear of reprecussions, bomb explosions, smashed cars, verbal abuse, television censorship to confirm all this your opposition leader sent a letter of complaint about the undemocratic situation in the south, to the EU he was latter was forced by mounting pressure to retract his letter for fear of his life. the UN also included a message that Democracy in the south leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing has changed in the south the mentality and course antics which contributed to 1974 are still evident and will increase over time again confirming why we are unable to function as one and that the best solution is recongnized partition.

And absolutely no censorship (unlike all western nations). There were lawyers, consitutionalists etc. every night for almost a month explaining and discussing from both sides of the argument every article of the Anan plan!!!!

Sorry Fi, but I got totally the opposite impression when I was there during the referendum campaign. Granted my Greek is appalling, but there was a notable bias against the 'yes' campaign. This conclusion was supported by the findings of a study by IMME, which studied the media's stance during the campaign.
