should the picasso on the mountain come down...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Are you volunteering Palio? I would't if I were you. That part of the mountains are inhabited with Kurds and they keep their knives well sharpened. Don't ask me how I know. :oops:

Many of the original settlers were Kurdish and were 're-settled' in the north after 1974. I wish we had figures for the proportion of Kurdish and Turkish settlers.

it's simpler to lump the turk/kurd settlers together as turdish...

didn't you know ? lots of them have TRNC citizenship.... lots of them serves in TC's army as a professional soldiers and they lives at karpasia peninsula..... Next morning they will rise up the flag again Palio..... and with more powerful lights on .... TRNC flag is the symbol of the TC's do not under estimate it Palio and TC's are proud of with their flags. If they were not they will put down long time ago.... the way u are keep talking about TRNC flag people are holding it more tightly.

so if we said we loved it and congratulated u for creating such an amazing landscape on the mountain, you'd take it down? what a stupid clown u are...

i don't buy into yje tcs are powerless...they new how to demonstrate during the annan plan and forcing the gates to open...

but as you can see from effendi's point that ain't gonna happen coz they see it as rubbing salt to the wounds...

and again judging from effendi's post even if a solution is found the picasso is staying...

also what the effendi's post highlights is we want to keep the spoil if wars and gain more from any negotiation....

for me, keep it there showing evevy visisting dignitary your state of backwardness...it works bothways...

my point is the picasso is doing more harm to the tcs exposing them for what they are...a vindictive lot. not understanding reconciliation...unheard off in the EU today...15th century mentality...
