Aldi in Cyprus.

Lidl opens on the 4th November, and Aldi is preparing in the future. How do I know?
In Protaras, there is a building rising slowly, across the road from the Brilliant Hotel. This will be an Aldi store.
Locals near by have told me and the Council records have been leaked.
Perhaps it didn't work well in Greece, but there are plenty of English Ex Pats here as well as other nationalities, who are looking for bargins.

Lidl,Aldi,Orphanides whoever, human nature and a tight budget will be the reason people will shop where they get the best value for money.I have always been happy to use the local Cypriot shops and supermarkets but not to the point of wasting money when I can get stuff cheaper and sometimes better quality elsewhere.

You have to buy groceries every week.

Anybody that spends more than they have to because of some bizarre brand snobbery is a fool.
