German Federal model for Cyprus and Viewpoint

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby boulio » Fri Oct 29, 2010 3:39 am

concernig israel and turkey no i would not,but turkey cannot get booted out of nato and i dont think they would every leave but again the reason i added them is for a federal model to exist and turkey will be in the security equation

i too would rather see a united cyprus having its own military and and no foreign alliance(if thats what the cypriots want0but to reach a agreement and yes GR it will be a federal or a partition i believe then turkey will be in the security apparatus in the form of a unit of nato

No GR you dont have a formalized partition.36 years friend.people are born in cyprus from both sides of the divide that have nothing to do with the other side im afraid.and many who did are dying. They dont care about some house that papou left in karpasia.Im afraid its either a formal and negotiated partition or hopefully a funtioning federal structure.

You mean you're planning to ask the RoC for permission to formally keep her territory? Image

Why can't any of you explain it to me?

If you've found a legal path past Cyprus' sovereignty, past her UN and EU membership, spill the beans!

If not then what is the plan? Ask for her permission?

Modify the UN Charter?

Get some aliens in spaceships to help you modify international law?

Let’s hear it!

Stupid is the “Turkish Cypriot” approach that expects miracles to happen out of thin air!
