1. I just don't see how the settler rush helps the fanatical GCs???? We are siting at the sidelines watching in horror this massive illegal immigration into our country & feel helpless to do anything about it. You control the north, you must control the immigration flow.

2. As you are in exile now, many other TCs will be forced to do the same if this settler situation continues. Why don't you put the brakes on? Do something! As I mentioned earlier, your TC political leadership is either useless or powerless to intervene... in other words, you are just pawns in the game... Turkey is taking you for a ride... wake up! You are being evicted from your homeland. Stop blaming the GC side for that!

Without a solution why do we need to stop the flow exactly? dont you GCs claim we have been assimilated anyway? you should be the ones worried they do not flow into the south which they have already been doing, why dont you stop them?

Solution or not, the flow must stop. We can't stop it since you are "in charge" at the north. Remember, the island is small & can not sustain further population increases due to very limited resources. This settler business is getting out of hand, something has to be done.

Any future flow to the south is unlikely. The RoC has strict rules about immigration, so does the EU so don't get your hopes too high.

Nevertheless, the extinction of the genuine TC population as we know is rapidly approaching... no one up on the north has the balls to address the problem. Mr Eroglu is not worried one bit about it... not sure why you guys voted him into office. What about the other political parties up there? Does any one ever expressed concerns about population issues?

some of you people are really making absolute ego related comments ie as the bloke above mentioned colonisation of occupied land and un not responding .I think you actually believe that conventions will restrain such a militarily capable country like Turkey . What was the Un able to do when America and UK decided to invade Iraq (Bugger all) What has the Un able to do when Israel does as it pleases in the middle east (Bugger all ). When ever Turkey crosses over to North of Iraq what has the Un done (bugger all) the list is endless of how the Un does not respond .Why would they respond to what you percieve as War crimes . please dont even go into war crimes because no one is innocent when war breaks out . Your just good at politics and propoganda but i am sure there are a lot of people out there from both TCs and GCs that can tell you a story of their relatives being ethnically clensed which would you not consider as war crimes and that includes some of my relatives (civilians) that were butchered by GCs but i have the wisdom and inteligence to see things for what they are not hide behind politics and cast everyone to be the same .There are good turks and there are good greeks and there are bad turks and there are Bad greeks . As for you who made the comment of being Turkified another ignorant statement i must add. I say this to Greek Cypriots including Turkish Cypriots who may be deluded of what race a TC is . We originate from the ottoman empire which makes us more Turkish than some of the Turks from mainland .If you keep falling for the crap that some GCs are telling you that you are different then you are as ignorant as them and falling for the oldest trick in history. How you should respond to some one telling you that you are turkified is How can a turk be turkified what a dumb statement and LOL in their faces. I would feel stupid if i told a GC that they are greekified .

Sounds like you are becoming another "Bangladesh" kind of state, people living on top of each other, ghettos and shacks all over, poverty and misery... you know what? Here we go again misconstruding what i said about Turkified . i will make it plain and simple i am aware of where i orininate from just like we all do as we live in England. My parents are Turkish Cypriot and go back 600 years all TC originate from the ottoman empire meaning from some part of the Empires boundaries .That is all i am saying . I am not making some colonial comment i am stating a historical fact thats all and also the person making a comment about a safe return home .Can you please elaborate on what you mean by a safe return Home this as i can assure you that in my mothers village which pre 1974 was a mixed village they co existed with two communities both living their way of culture and there was absolute no desire to safe return home as they were at home as far as they were concerned and so did their 6 generations before them and i am certain well i can only speak for myself as i was born here that this is my home and i have no desire as a safe return home do you back to Greece?
