Palio why are you called a Greek Cypriot then?

im not i am called a cypriot.. no greek, well apart from the fact we speak greek but that does not mean i am greek or have any greek roots. i am a greek speaking cypriot.

The “Turkish Cypriots” have gradually completely ousted themselves from Cyprus… both politically (100%) and physically (50%), through a series of badly miscalculated policies and maneuvers over the last 50 odd years.

They are now the most desperate people on the planet looking for anything to grab onto but I think it’s too late for them.

The Cyprus problem is no longer an internal issue of ethnic strife that used to be summarized as GC Vs TC, but an international dispute of Cyprus Vs Turkey and UN Resolutions at its core.

You are right now all you have to do is deal with that 70 million tide called Turkey good luck youll need it.

In actuality VP, it is 70 million Turks vs. 500 million EU citizens and that 500 million number is on the increase with every new membership joining the "Christian Club", therefore, it is no longer 70 million Turks against the RoC, but 70 million against the EU. Now do you understand why the RoC became an EU member and why the EU took the RoC as a EU member. Could it be that the EU has no intentions in ever letting Turkey take over the island of Cyprus and that at best is to keep Turkey at bay from ever becoming an EU member by allowing Turkey to occupy 37% of the island until the time comes to rectify the problem, if and when Turkey itself breaks up due to it's own internal "civil war" by those who want to be part of the West and those who want to be part of the East, no doubt initiated by the Americans. That's when the dust will settle regarding the Cyprus issue, and all the remaining TCs will then become minority citizens of the RoC and all the Illegal Alien settlers will be given the choice to become part of Turkey that is in the West or the part that's in the East, before their return back to their motherland.!

1. I just don't see how the settler rush helps the fanatical GCs???? We are siting at the sidelines watching in horror this massive illegal immigration into our country & feel helpless to do anything about it. You control the north, you must control the immigration flow.

2. As you are in exile now, many other TCs will be forced to do the same if this settler situation continues. Why don't you put the brakes on? Do something! As I mentioned earlier, your TC political leadership is either useless or powerless to intervene... in other words, you are just pawns in the game... Turkey is taking you for a ride... wake up! B25 its reality without a solution the trend of Turks coming to north Cyprus will continue and they are no longer just workers qualified professionals are also moving from tbe hussle and bussle of big cities to the TRNC for a quieter life. In 5 to 10 years this figure will easily reach 1 million of mixed marriages children born here etc will you still want what you are demanding today if we become the majority. The Turks hAve already started moving south dontbeto suprised if your daughters or sons bring them home to introduce them toyou as your future son or daughtetinlaw. Thats where thibgs are headed and if you cant see it and live in denial you will the ones kicking yourswlves for not compromisong with TCs to solve the problem when you had that chance.

In actual fact you continue to commit war crimes by violating the 4th Geneva convention of coloniasation of occupied lands. Shame the UN doesn't respond to that.

Lots of ifs but the tide is on its way the EU have done jack shit to help the GCs they have only used them to create excuses, the EU cannot stop the flood of Turks which have started to infiltrate the south and will over the years become a problem for the GCs, they have taken over the north as you yourself claim its only a matter of time when they will take the south as well and the GCs can do nothing about it.

Without a solution why do we need to stop the flow exactly? dont you GCs claim we have been assimilated anyway? you should be the ones worried they do not flow into the south which they have already been doing, why dont you stop them?
