The “Turkish Cypriots” have gradually completely ousted themselves from Cyprus… both politically (100%) and physically (50%), through a series of badly miscalculated policies and maneuvers over the last 50 odd years.

They are now the most desperate people on the planet looking for anything to grab onto but I think it’s too late for them.

The Cyprus problem is no longer an internal issue of ethnic strife that used to be summarized as GC Vs TC, but an international dispute of Cyprus Vs Turkey and UN Resolutions at its core.

You are right now all you have to do is deal with that 70 million tide called Turkey good luck youll need it.

In actuality VP, it is 70 million Turks vs. 500 million EU citizens and that 500 million number is on the increase with every new membership joining the "Christian Club", therefore, it is no longer 70 million Turks against the RoC, but 70 million against the EU. Now do you understand why the RoC became an EU member and why the EU took the RoC as a EU member. Could it be that the EU has no intentions in ever letting Turkey take over the island of Cyprus and that at best is to keep Turkey at bay from ever becoming an EU member by allowing Turkey to occupy 37% of the island until the time comes to rectify the problem, if and when Turkey itself breaks up due to it's own internal "civil war" by those who want to be part of the West and those who want to be part of the East, no doubt initiated by the Americans. That's when the dust will settle regarding the Cyprus issue, and all the remaining TCs will then become minority citizens of the RoC and all the Illegal Alien settlers will be given the choice to become part of Turkey that is in the West or the part that's in the East, before their return back to their motherland.!

Look at what has happened in Cyprus since joining the EU and you think that s great.
Cyprus no matter what clever ideas you come out with to try and rid of Turks or position yourselves in a powerfull position do you not think by the time European forces can infiltrate turkish land that turkey would have taken the whole of Cyprus within 3 days.
No wonder why Turkey has so much mass of army in Cyprus because your ideology is to rid of turks and thats why turkey must bring in more soldiers into Cyprus. Your statement is the key factor that shows exactly what your intentions are.

Whoa! Hold on there cowboy! Take a step back! I don't think anyone said that Europe is planning to re-take Cyprus by force. Only that Cyprus is now a part of the EU so that legally Turkey is in occupation of EU territory - as the whole of the island entered the EU on accession. This has certain legal, political and diplomatic consequences - as Turkey has found to its cost. This, of course, was the intention of Cyprus's entry in the first place and why it was such a shrewd and brilliant move.

I can respond in the same manner . I am British i speak english but i am not English .

Quickly, there is no RACE as a Cypriot race of course..There are very few races in the world,like the white race,the yellow race,the black race etc...But there is,or could have been, a Cypriot NATION...People who live in Cyprus who share the same geography,history,customs and traditions,gene pool,and lifestyle and social values etc...

Unfortunately Cypriots have allowed their two differences (language and religion) destroy all the other things they have in common...They had a lot of help from outsiders,no doubt,but still they should have known better...It is too late now,a lot of hearts and minds are poisoned by the past events...As you can see on this Forum...
