so if we cannot live together that means we should accept your terms? and we can live together you just need to let go of this gcs will kill us and minority in a gc state talk and we will be fine..

it has to be a solution that both sides do not like, not that oh we cant live together so turks get what they want...

just as enosis was forgotten taksim has to be forgotten also but even today the turks demand it

you see what the turks do? try cause hate in cyprus and problems to show the world we cant live together to make excuses so they have to have their own state even though they blow themselves up and then blame us for it...

If you really believe in the above statement, VP, are you then not stating, that had the AP passed, there still would have been 1 million Turks in Cyprus, all over Cyprus, only this time as legal citizens of Cyprus, citizenship issued to them by the north state. I mean, what would have stopped them from coming, you, the insignificant TCs without any political power or a vote in the north! :wink:

A Federal solution is not partition look at Belgium and the USA, the formula may differ but the end result is the same one country one people. You really need to do some research as you appear stuck on this 2 state issue, how many states make up the USA?

Palio the fact that we do not agree on anything shows that we cannot live together, it has nothing to do with the Turks. The Turks will leave as soon as we can agree on the structure that we can all commit to but unfortunately the chasm continues to exıst between the 2 sides.

how big is the usa? 500000 times bigger then cyprus, cyprus does not have the space for two states, it barely has enough for one

Totally wrong again, the important part of my post you have chosen to ignore without a solution the numbers will increase as is the case today had the AP of been voted through strict rules would have been put in place to curb the flow in and not give citizenship to those who chose to live and work here with work permits rather than voting rights that come with citizenship. Plus the AP would of also sent a hugh number of settlers back to Turkey witht he blessing of the TCs but of course we all know the GCs reject this idea.
