Straight to the heart of the matter GR, you are to be commended for the forthright manner in which you are able to assess a situation, however, when dealing with those who are more ready and willing to discuss issues, such forthrightness (if there be such a term) leaves little room for debate even though (in this instance) I absolutely agree with you.
There are also more sinister aspects to the distribution of 'Aid' and it is in these areas that I feel one should be a little more inquisitive, possibly a little more subtle in order to avoid offence and certainly direct in exposing the political chicanery that attends the question of 'Foreign Aid'.
Incidentally, I must mention that I think your efforts in attempting to educate our 'Arsolic Friend' are equally commendable.

I'm dismayed by your commendation, Schnauzer. GR's "efforts in attempting to educate" often include character attacks, making generalizations that one may easily poke holes through, and dismissing signifcant facts to suit his agenda. Is this your style of "education," Schnauzer? I think not. What you actually admire is the notion that you and he are of like minds concerning the subject; your styles of "educating" totally differ. Please tell me I'm not wrong.
Filitsa, I have just returned from a second stint in the open countryside and note that you have responded to an earlier post of mine.
Not wishing to create the impression that I may have ignored you, I feel obliged to respond myself.
There ARE other posts which I should respond to BUT, (since one in particular opens with subtle insult) response can wait until I have rested.
As to my commendation of GR's forthright manner, I do feel that such should be recognized at least on the merit of forthrightness, whether or not one agrees with his posts is a moot point though I must confess that I do consider his ability to defend his position (when under fire from those who do not appreciate his comments) worthy of some credit.
I do not seek to 'Educate' GR nor would I wish to create the impression that such was my intention, GR's style is as much to his own liking as is mine to me, different perhaps, but no less valid as in terms of opinion or experience.
My reference to our 'Arsolic' friend, was merely something which I placed in jest, I am sure GR recognized immediately to whom I was referring and though I am actually quite reluctant to offer insult, I feel that the particular member so 'Tagged' has earned the right to such title.
Thank you for your interest, I must retire now, perhaps we may enjoy a civilized discussion on the subject here under scrutiny later.
