T/C Solutions to the Cyprus Problem

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby BirKibrisli » Wed Oct 27, 2010 2:13 am

There cannot be a solution until certain measures are successfully implemented...Number one requirement is for the GCs (the fanatical bloodyminded ones i am talking about) to start seeing TCs as human beings, long suffering and long mistreated...Then there will be a demonstration of empathy and respect, the majority to acknowledge the trauma they inflicted on the minority...The minority cannot forgive the majority until the majority apologises for their misdeeds in the past...It would help to set up a truth and reconciliation commission to speed things up...All the dark secrets have to be aired and faced full frontal...That goes for both sides...After that we might be ready to talk about sharing a unitary state with hope and confidence..I strongly believe that any other solution than the Unitary state solution will be temporary...We need to get over our ethnicity and embrace our nationality...But no steps are being taken in the right direction,so we cannot talk about a solution...It is pissing against the wind, and all the past negotiations and the present ones are proof of that...

yes - we need to measure up a coffin with the words "turdland - rip" on it... and we also got to measure 40,000 anatolian troops for civvies.... tell me when these are successfully implemented and then we'll have a solution.

And the T/Cs will apologise for collaborating with the British in the 1950s? Then collaborating with Ankara and its armed militias throughout the 1960s in their campaign for partition? For collaborating in the barbaric ethnic cleansing of 200,000 Greek Cypriots in 1974? For exploiting our properties since then? Desecrating our churches and graveyards? Seeking a separate state on our land? Celebrating the Turkish invasion and occupation as if it was a victory? Insisting that we have no right of return to our towns and villages? And for insisting that legal property owners should be deprived of their rights?

If you are prepared to apologise for all the crimes, atrocities and insults you have committed in Cyprus then we will apologise too, I'm sure.

There must be something ZoC? What about the time when that village in the north got flooded and we all laughed when they sent emergency sofas? That wasn't very nice.

You are NOT "long suffering and mistreated"!

You’re jus an irresponsible lot who came here uninvited to cause death, destruction, and misery to the natives… something that continues to this day!

So either shape up or shape out of the island!

Then there will be a demonstration of empathy and respect, the majority to acknowledge the trauma they inflicted on the minority...The minority cannot forgive the majority until the majority apologises for their misdeeds in the past...

You incorrigible idiot!
