Caught Stealing UN documents????

Postby BirKibrisli » Mon Oct 25, 2010 3:33 pm

Does anybody know what this is all about???

The Greek Cypriot intelligence agency, or KIP, was behind last year's theft of documents from the United Nations, the biggest in the organization's history, according to Greek Cypriot media, Anatolia news agency reported.

Have our highly moralistic compatriots got their fingers caught in the cookie jar???

If true, it can’t possibly be as bad as stealing 37% of a sovereign nation’s territory and ethnically cleansing its indigenous population from it… can it?

I just think it is funny that people who accuse others of stealing other people's land, and try for so long, to claim the high moral ground get caught stealing secret UN documents to give themselves an edge in the negotiations for permanent solution to the Cyprus problem...

The Turkish version of this article implies that some GC secret agent seduced Downer's personal asssitant in order to steal these documents...
This story might have legs ...

Are you upset because we found out about the plot to destroy Cyprus with the help of corrupt UN officials? What we do is revealing the TRUTH. Nobody was harmed from this apart from your plot. What you do is crimes against humanity. See the difference?

If the 'Legs' you mention, were kept discreetly together, perhaps none of these shocking revelations would now be (as with Downer's P.A.) so available.

Irresistible 'Charm of the G/C's' by all accounts.

Who can resist the charms of a handsome Greek Cypriot spy? Nice work. I'm a bit surprised that our T/C friend sounds so surprised. He can't be that naive to think the ROC isn't capable of doing all it can to give itself an advantage.

Cyprus is swarming with spies. It was ever thus. If the KIP wasn't keeping an eye on the UN's plans and what Downer was cooking up then it wouldn't be doing its job.

Sure it can.

It can mean that the RoC is based on nothing but lies (which is probably true) and the fucking KIP is trying to cover it up.

I mean what could the UN possibly have that the RoC want's it so bad?

And what might its "job" really be?
