What I found in my Local Tip!

Postby Gagman » Sun Oct 24, 2010 11:49 pm

I want to thank the person and also comdem them as leacherous bastard!

While taking my branches to the local landfill,I heard a noise under some cardboard boxes.I finished my job and carefully made my way towards the noise, slowly and cautiously,I lifted the boxes up to find a dog.I gave him some water which I had in the car.
There was no one about, and the dog looked in a most miserable condition. So I put the dog in the car and drove home.I arrived home only after 4 minutes and called the Family to look at this poor creature,we gave him some small portions of food and more water, then one of the children said with surprise,'it's the little dog from Frasier!'. To my surprise and horror,it was confirmed by the Vet,who gave shoots and a clean bill of health to our new Family member.
Yes,I found a pedigree Jack Russel and it now belongs to us.This dog is very expensive to buy,and some idiot dumped him. WHY?
Your not going to get this dog back! Who ever you are,we are calling him Eddie.
He will live with us and a Goose, which I also found 4 years ago in the same landfill.
Some people are not worthy of keeping animals.I'm now waiting for the day to find a Racoon,Aligator,Monkey,Deer or some strange exotic animal.

Cyprus is a beautiful Island, except for the rubbish, illegal prostitution,Turkish invasion, careless drivers, greedy Supermarket racketeers, and anything else that might cheese you off!

You are so right! Cyprus is a sad place if you are an animal. We see cruelty everyday on an island where they can't build churches fast enough. Why don't the Priests tell the people to look after God's creatures. Why? Because the Priests and Bishops are too bust making money to build more churches to satisfy their vanity!

I am glad there are some people with a good heart, you will have to license the animal and take the dog too.

You done the right thing, well done.

Had a similar experience, found a dog abandoned at the scrap yard, took him in. All this in Canada, not Cyprus, believe it or not!

His name is Freddie... close enough to Eddie, small world I suppose...
