Funny how whenever a daft question is asked about computers, it’s almost always answered by even dafter people!
First we'll start with the daft question that makes no sense whatsoever…
“Does anyone know if you can connect a router to the cat 5 cable of extend internet and then connect throught the router wirelessly”
Makes perfect sense doesn’t it?
If only the poster would refrain from acting smart by including every “tech word” they had ever heard in their life they might start making some sense!
And now for those brilliant tech answers to the complex question…
“yes, we run a wifi router/VOIP phone modem no problem”
“yes, you stick the extend cat-5 cable into the router (marked as internet) and then follow the instructions which come with the router “
Well there you have it…
all problems solved! 
Another satisfied customer assisted online who still has to go to a shop tomorrow and simply ask…
“How do I connect wirelessly?”
