'' GC's see the TC's They can be only friend, a colleague and neighbor is considered to be,
Chief, supervisor, or to see themselves as managers said they could not accept. ''
we can't be your Chief, supervisor or manager .... if we work together ...
don't u think this is also kind of theft................
Halil ... I have not read the news you are refering to above.
I don't agree with what the press says. If a TC is good worker and can be manager well that's good enough for me. That is discrimination and government department need to enforce legislation that says that positions are given on merit not ethnicity.
A public survey carried out on behalf of the Fileleftheros Newspaper .
the other results were as below.... we knew these ones before that's why i didn't write. How many percentage of the people thinks like u Humanist. That is most important part of it and that's why question marks all the time in the TC's mind.... Equality.
A public survey carried out on behalf of the Fileleftheros Newspaper in South Cyprus has revealed that 80 % of Greek Cypriots reject the continuation of the system of guarantees in the event of a settlement, while 62 % perceive the idea of a rotational presidency as unacceptable. 94 % of the survey’s participants said they wanted the withdrawal of Turkish Armed Forces from Cyprus and 71 % opposed the idea of TRNC citizens of Turkish origin to remain on the island after a solution is reached.
The results also show that 75 % of Greek Cypriots do not expect the ongoing negotiations process to bring a solution onto the agenda.
According to the survey, the majority of Greek Cypriots trust Russia- which supports the Greek Cypriot Side’ proposals- but distrust Britain, the United States and the United Nations.
Its results also show that the majority of Greek Cypriots see Turkish Cypriots as friends, colleagues and neighbours, but are opposed to the idea of having them as superiors in the work place.
63 % of participants seem to be in favour of a federation in Cyprus while 20 % perceive a two-state solution as better, according to the survey.
The results of the survey is said to prove that the Greek Cypriot majority does not welcome a lasting solution to the Cyprus problem.
