I say this time and time again but the Greek Cypriots fail to understand, Turkey does not Occupy any part of Cyprus, thus they only provide additional security to the TRNC under the authorisation of the Turkish Cypriot Security Forces - Period. If Turkey were occupying Cyprus, Northern Cyprus would have been a part of Turkey after 1974, it wouldn't have declared itself a Republic in 1983, and the UN would not engage in Intercommunal Talks between the two Cypriot leaders and Christofias would not feel compelled to sit around the negotiating table. The EU made a mistake in 2004, and now the failure of the EU Parliament to endorse the Direct Trade Regulation after Greek harrassment will now lead the EU in adopting a new Cyprus stance - Partition. The Talks are now over and Turkey will take a step back with the world pointing its finger at at the EU for pushing Turkey away and then Recognising the TRNC. You guys are so blind it makes me laugh. You have now fused the Turkish Cypriots and Turkey more closer than ever before.

MrH is at it again. First, his informed sources tell him that the direct trade regulation is certain to pass. Now his sources say that Turkey plans to annex Cyprus and the EU will go along with this and adopt it as their new policy.

Although it's mildly amusing to watch him twist in the wind, I have to say I'm beginning to have concerns about MrH's state of mind.
