Can anyone advise me on the Import Duties/VAT payable on importing sporting goods into Cyprus from an non-EU country, please, the website is in Greek.

I am not sure, I think the tax is: VAT on the value of the product and the shipping together.

To make that more clear lets say the shoes cost 50 Euro and to shipping costs another 50 Euro you will pay 15 Euro VAT, maybe a couple more Euro for Custom fees.

Again I am not 100% positive.

but if you clicky on the link for Tariffs and Excise Duty on the English version, there is nothing there.

Is this for a one-off purchase or for commercial interests?

It is a one off purchase for personal use of sporting items from Australia.

Tried calling Nicosia, no answer :-)

My experience of 'one off purchases for personal use' from outside the EU is that the post office grab the parcel then charge just about what ever they like on the day (Plus VAT)... :lol:
