You should be doing standup comedy… and you wouldn’t even need to open your mouth!

Weird stuff comes up on these ads, the new hotels recently opened in the north came up on another forum, I would,nt have known otherwise that they existed, the Noahs Ark for instance have you seen that?? They have gone slightly spending mad over there. Luxury hotels, minor celebs that don,t arrive, the money being spent in the north has to be coming from Turkey. I know some who travel from Ercan to Turkey for hols who LIVE in the south

No you don't Milo! You are just saying that to wind up Oracle and her sidekick GR!

No GCs ever go over and spend loadsa money in the North. No GCs ever holiday in Turkey.

It's all lies

*I got told to keep quiet about the holiday and property ads for the 'TRNC' featured on here. They said no one would have noticed them if I hadn't drawn their attention to them lol! Such is the mentality - sweep it under the carpet and pretend it didn't happen - just talk about the things we want them to hear about. No wonder they can't solve their problems.

However my good GC pal, Doros, has just returned from a nice holiday in Istanbul!

I know a few GCs myself who go to Istanbul on a regular basis… not for their love of Turks or Turkey, but to take their money!

Turkey needs Cypriot expertise and they’re happy to pay BIG for it! And when I say “expertise” I’m not talking about shoddy trades people from peasant areas like Paphos, but our dynamic educated lads from Nicosia who are gradually turning Istanbul and their citizens into a 21st century city and laughing all the way to the bank!

I do though

Btw who/what is an Oracle? never heard of it? GR though sounds an absolute sweetie  :?

The Artemis Hotel is up I believe and the next is to be 'The Hanging Gardens of Babylon' I mean come on, themed hotels whatever next. The marina in Karpaz is on its way and the road is constructed leading from the marina eventually to these monstrosity hotels, sorry don,t like themed hotels at all, its all a bit Las Vegas to me. The Savoy Ottoman and the Cratos imo seem a little out of place at the moment   Why is this hurriedly being done now you have to ask?

Look at this thing, not my filming btw done by a noodle on that 'other' forum

Just for your information most Cypriots that go to Turkey don't go there to see anything Turkish, but to admire the ancient Greek and Byzantine sights.

By the way, I very rarely see such ads in the forum. Google ads are contextual and they are based on the content of the page but also on your location and your browsing habits. So if you see a lot of ads related to Turkish things it means that Google has determined that you are a good target for those kind of ads. This explains why Gasman constantly sees such ads unlike me ;)

 GasFarts, if you’re seeing Turkish things everywhere just do this in Windows XP…

Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Location

(At the bottom of the dialog box)

Change your location from “Turkey” to “Cyprus”!

Voila!

Wow, I'm seeing ads for a 'Romantic Cotswold Break' and 'North Cyprus Villa Rentals', and I'm in China!
