Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots are two terms used for discussions only...They ae ALL CYPRIOTS and thats the way we should all see it....the rest is simply jargon and poltical yogurt!

It has been my observation that Turkish speaking Cypriots on this forum detest being labelled as Cypriots, they want to be know as Turkish Cypriots. And there lies the never ending saga of the Cyprus problem.

no one really gives a damn about a solution........ not even the cypriots, the ones that gave a damn are slowly but surely dying off and their kids are creaming it in by declaring to the world that the are refugees and claiming everything they can!!!!!!!

it costs too much time and money to have guts and balls.......... so rather than spend it on a solution it seems its better to line the politicians pockets!!!!!!!!!!!

i know someone who was not even born in 74 and he classes himself as a refugee (cheeky), milking the system as much as they can forever!!!!!!!!!!

so in short....................FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this way it suits a few countries (no names mentioned they know who they are) to have a divided country that they can play with at will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i personally cannot see cyprus united as it once was, i remember how it was everyone would get on with each other.

now all people seem to do is show hate towards each other because the are either cypriot or a turkish cypriot.

they dont stop to think that all those years ago their families would have been neighbours, friends and even related sometimes.

i will say this with no regrets, my best friend is a turkish cypriot back in the uk and i couldnt ask for a better friend we went through so much together in our own personal lives a few years ago and i knew he would be there for me as so did he when he went through a rough time in his life.

so if people want to be bitter for the rest of their little lives, let them they are the ones losing out!!!!!!!!

but dont expect a solution anytime soon......... or if you are......... dont hold your breath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
