To late mate, it's already started happening; annexation - trust me, it's your lack of Territorial control of the Entire island EU policy that will have to be ammended. The EU know what's required, hence, either allow the TCS to trade directly or bare the blame for Forcing Turkey out of the EU and, as a result, Turkey annexing Northern Cyprus. Please read Yusuf Kanli's latest Report on Northern Cyprus in the Hurriyet newspaper. There's no smoke without fire. Enjoy the view from Ayia Napa!!

Viewpoint,
It's amazing How VERY, Very little these GCs know what's actually happening in Kuzey Kibris - it's almost laughable at what's going on under their nose. The EU has really screwed their plans up. LOL.

i look forward to seing turkey annex north cyprus... see you on the other side.

the tcs stop themselves from trading freely by blocking themselves into a corner.

i dont go to agia napa this time of year, the view fromm nicosia will be more clear ;)

Clearly you've been sleeping since April 24th 2004. Do you actually know what the EU is saying at a Parliament level? Do you not know have much the EU has regretted allowing the Greek Cypriots into their Club as the false representatives of the Entire island? The EU were so disappointed with the GCs for breaking their promise prior to the A.Plan referendum that, instead of blatantly recognising the Direct Trade agreement with N.Cyprus, they've been very carefully remiving the significance of their first entry agreement with the GCs with other indicators.

For instance, distancing TK from the EU until Cyprus sorts out it's Political mess - Turkish circles often tell me that they and the EU are in Perfect Harmony until the Cyprus issue is resolved! The introduction of the Lisbon Treaty, The observation of all other models from the Swiss Model, Belgium Model, the political stage of Taiwan, the former Yugoslavia, including standing against Greece and GC-Cyprus in the recognition of Kosovo. Look at it this Way, who is going to Force Turkey out of Cyprus?

Finally, the EU is ALL FOR a Two State solution for Cyprus, just like how Tony Blair agreed to a Two State resolution of the Israeli and Palestinian problem. Political situation change my friend and the Greek Cypriots are in Dreamland!

Look at it this way, The EU HAS ACCEPTED that a UN Solution is NOT going to materialise, Turkey CAN NOT PROCEED unless the "CYPRUS" PROBLEM is resolved and the EU is fedup of being blamed - Period.

With the Turkish Military now in close negotiation at a NATO level, a level Greek CYPRUS is so desperate to be a part of, in the development of a new Missile defence Sytem in Turkey.........Hold on.........and ......"TURKISH CYPRUS". With GecitKale and Maras as Turkey's Two Southern areas and the isolation of Northern Cyprus eventually removed, I would kiss the GC-ROC goodbye.

clearly you still are sleeping and having a wet dream....

i agree no one is going to force turkey out in a million years though i dont doubt this, but also no one is going to recognise your fake rape state in the next million years either. i would kiss your TRNC good bye, and yes you will kiss the roc good bye when your taken back to turkey ;), if there was going to be any isolation lifting it would of been done decades ago, with out the rocs ok you have nothing but your turkish army to try force and threaten their way into recognition, which is stupid because it will never happen... eu is not being blamed by gcs but by turkey, gcs blame turkey.... and if eu was for a two state solution tey would of just said ok we recognise the trnc today and thats it...

what world are you living in? turkey is so desperate to be part of eu, your in wet dream land, you better wake up soon otherwise when you do you will wake up to a turkish free cyprus, and i dont mean tc i mean mainland turk.

lets make a plan totally in favour of gcs and see if you accept it? then condem you when you reject it.. this a plan rubbish why we rejected this perfectly fair plan 99% in favour of tcs and yes turkey cannot proceed with out cyprus problem being solved which is why they are getting more desperate to try force us to accept two states they are playing a sneaky game in which they hope to be recognised and in the eu, try scare and threaten... and some times it works very well but not for turkey any more because its all they do. like they threatened to annex cyprus if we join eu with out them.

bring it on turkey do your worse. and whos to say all these half tcs will be even given roc passports? and if cyprus north is annexed ? you think roc would carry on giving them? or is it more idle threats like before we joined eu, did turkey not threaten the same rubbish in order to scare the roc to doing what they want?

turkeys threats dont work. the only ones in trouble are the TCs in the hands of the turks... with more time your rape state is going to hell. you have no where to turn so you turn to more threats in order to try make your state legal and recognised.... it wil NEVER happen, cyprus will be at the bottom of the sea before north cyprus is recognised.. your dreaming wet turkish dreams.

you should hear yourself your too funny

So do we take it you do not support a BBF?

vp, i support BBF (read my manifesto, again, please), but you cannot expect the eu, or any other credible partner to accept a State based on Illegal Occupation and Property theft. paliometoxo is quite right, although his tone is brutal there is no exaggeration of the facts.

Private property issues are part and parcel of a BBF solution and should be resolved once and for all but the two state under one identity solution is not even a issue anymore it has been accepted by both sides that each community will have their own state to administer under mutual laws imposed by the federal structure, the GCs accepted this deveopment in 1977, are you people again renegging on a vital element of any future solution? Your leaders are not saying what you state they have been working for the last 2 years for a BBF with political equality of the 2 states.

Viewpoint, Spot On, but the GC believe that Certain parts of the Cyprus issue should be solved Seperately, No way Jose, this is not how it works. All parts of the Cyprus issue are resolved as part of a UN based Comprehensive Resolution or it'll lead to partition. This is also why the EU will eventually allow Direct Trade for Northern Cyprus as their interference with the UN process in falsely empowering the GCs with EU entry representing the Entire island in the hope that the GC promised to Accept the Annan Plan has obviously Backfired. Now the EU are being accused of laying new Conditions in front of Turkey's EU process by setting a completely uncompromising platform on the Cyprus issue knowling that Turkey is now longer interested! Funny how what the GCs thought would be their advantage is actually now a basis for partition.

Meanwhile, I've been told that the Turkish Naval Forces Commander Gen Agur will soon be visiting the KKTC - what a coincidence ay!

The Greek Cypriots know what, and where they have messed up and are only trying their luck with Empty scenarios in front of a Turkey whom does not care. Turkey will always stick to a United Nations process like glue.

The choice belongs to the EU - and we know how warm the EU is in Ultimately resolving a conflict with a new state!

VP >>>>Can you tell us how your interpretation of Private Property being a part of an overall settlement fits with the ECHR decision of a few weeks ago which re-affirmed "ownership" of property being based as per RoC Land Registry, and also how your curious interpretation that would see hundreds of thousands of peoples' properties being expropriated fits with basic EU Principles please??
