Putin defends Samsun-Ceyhan oil pipeline

SOCHI, Russia, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Moscow stands by plans to build an oil pipeline from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean despite company complaints, the Russian prime minister said.

Moscow is part of a three-member consortium that plans to build the Samsun-Ceyhan oil pipeline from the Black Sea to ports on Mediterranean Sea.

Russia's state-owned pipeline operator Transneft expressed "dissatisfaction" with attempts by Ankara to steer the project.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told delegates at an international forum in Russia, however, that the Kremlin was committed to the project, Turkey's daily newspaper Hurriyet reports.

OK, MrH(itler), lets just say for a moment that what you say about the navel base is true. So what?

If it is, then this is just further proof that Turkey had/has no interest in the TCs but is finally getting what it always wanted in Cyprus, a military base to protect its southern flank.

Your FM was quoted as saying "Even if there were no muslims in Cyprus, we would still have gone" So, you see, we do know your game plan, you must think we were born yesterday. GCs are not easily swayed, just look on the CF and see them fighting each other over the Turks, where as you guys stick together. No my friend, the Ankara Plan was a disaster in the waiting and its a good job we did reject it otherwise not even you would be here today with the 50s 60s all over again.

Turks in TC families is of your own making and your own problem, deal with it. If you are trying to use is as blackmail we couldn't git a rats arse mate.
