Don't blame the GCs for Turkeys policies in the occupied areas and stop bending over forward for Turkey.

Still preferred to GCs, thats what you are finding difficult to stomach, the only we can even consider living with you again would be via a AP type solution.

Well if that is your preference then stop moaning about the GCs and try standing up for your rights for a change.

The GC's have been actively working on dissolving the TC community for decades, long before Turkey.

Isn't it about time the TCs stopped blaming Greeks for their predicament? It isn't G/Cs who occupy the north of the island in defiance of international law. It isn't G/Cs who are bringing in Anatolian settlers. It isn't G/Cs who are banning the T/C dialect. It isn't G/Cs who have kept the island separated for the last 35 years. It isn't G/Cs who have ruined the northern economy, sold the property of the original owners and brought the weight of international law crashing down on the T/Cs heads. You've done it all yourselves in the last 35 years.

Greek Cypriots have just let you get on with it: isolation, economic ruin, cultural eradication and mass emigration. Even the most fanatical Greek nationalist couldn't have inflicted such a disaster on the Turkish Cypriots. Nice work. So keep on blaming the Greeks. Pretty soon, there'll be no T/Cs left in the north and you'll wonder how it happened. No doubt the Greeks did it.

.... and if might add..... who for year after year has misled them? Time after time, and on subject after subject leading them up the garden path to sod-all of a future?

Who has been promising them the Promised and Partitioned Land? Who has been making promise after promise it can't keep?

Who, for instance, has in recent months has been making false promises of non-stop direct flights, has been making get nowhere promises of direct trade, who has made blustery and farty and promises that the end of 2010 would see progress in Recognition?

Tissy brothers and sisters, look to the Lined Their Own Pockets Not To Be Trusted Illegal Regime for the answers to the above.

EVERY PROMISE THEY HAVE MADE TO YOU..... BROKEN!

We are better off now than we were ever living with GCs.

... and every promise made to you by the likes of VP .... BROKEN!

VP and his like are not to be trusted.

GCs will also be allowed to travel all over the island as they can do today and settle where ever they wish.

You mean a single state, a single government, single representation and, of course, the principles of the EU function without exception?

moanning ....moanning .................. UN shows his card very clearly .....

14/10/2010

For the past two years Mr. Downer has been facilitating the talks between Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias and his Turkish Cypriot counterparts, first Mehmet Ali Talat and after April elections Dervis Eroglu, in a bid to establish a Federal Government with a single international personality, along with a Turkish Cypriot Constituent State and a Greek Cypriot Constituent State, which would be of equal status.

That dumb-will gesture has expired Halil… you’re now back to UN resolutions.
