not lond ago i said assimilation and the loss of tc culture happened a long time ago...of course it stands to reason the majority assimilating the minority and how the tcs will be the losers with the loss of the curtural heritage...

well iwas attacked for these views but none other than halil and insan, boastiong how they assimilated the sellters, which evryone knows an impossible dream...

the question here is, where are the tcs defending their rights and cultural heritage?...they are all gone quite...wonder as to why this is the case...

but most interesting some are more interested in preserving democratic cultural traditions such children biides...as per the latest discusisions...

come on deniz, halil, insan, and you too douche bag, where are you to defendi the loss of your cultural heritage and cultural extinction?...

of course you don't have too since this is true, i believe it is and you have been feeding us lies...

I heard the argument we are reverting back to our roots and you gcs are to blame...wearing a bit thin to say the least...blaming others for your loss ain't gonna wash anymore, since as our very good fireind, our mate, Mr H, meaning he is happy about, reading from his post...

WELL boys?...where are you?...

There's no such thing as "proper Turkish"... TCs still use Greek and English words even time to time full Greek sentences and phrases in their daily lives...

The only thing changed is that TCs have become more familiar with the official Turkish of Turkey via Turkish mass media...

TCs when settled in Cyprus 400 years ago brought their Turkish or Turkic culture from various regions of Anatolia and developed it under then the circumstances for centuries...

Now, for a long while the circumstances are a bit different and our culture has been developed under these circumstances... it's not assimilation... it's natural evolution...

sorry to say we have conflicting stories here...insan and shah one story, revolver and mrH another story...2 different camps...

i would like to believe insan and shah, and happy to see culture still remains tc...but what is confusing is you guys do not seem to refute the other camp and let them get away with it, if this is indeed the case...

by not refuting their posts you give the impression that you are in aggreeance with them...hence this post...

thanks for the clarification anyway...

A group of the TC nationalists who are also Turkish nationalists consider the situation as how MrH and Revolver comprehend... Most of the TCs don't even care about it... some TCs feel embarassed of not being able to speak "proper Turkish"... Some TCs try to speak "proper Turkish" when they talk with a Turkish...

Most importantly, some TC political groups abuse the issue by attempting to portray it as a systematic assimilation in order to give a headache to government and a kind of blackmail to get what they want;i.e, for increasement of their salaries and reduction of the working hours and days...
