Think its time some tcs here learn what is meant by political equality. Political equality means effective participation in the bodies of govt by both communities but not numerical equality.

Proportional representation of both communities in the govt.

Blah blah!

Your lovely invention called "democracy" is the most abuse-prone system the world has ever had the misfortune to count on, that should be obvious by now.

You can keep your "political equality" in the South, and I'll keep mine here, thank you very much.

You can have proportional representation and political equality of the two states at the same time, go figure.

That's exactly my point, however a few things make me wonder..firstly why are you all getting so excited these days about permanent partition and how the gcs are driving themselves into a corner? If there are so many mistakes bing made by the govt of this island then what's your problem? Be happy and be quiet about it in case we wake up from this deep sleep.

Granted, a couple of kids like mrh sprout a lot of shit about direct trade and that (especially idiotic a few days before direct trade gets ruled out by the eu but hey there's a lot of kids on this forum that make these mistakes anyway.)

Bottom line it looks like the "trnc" is going to remain illegal so I suggest you concentrate on a few other issues to raise the morale in the occupied areas.

Btw how's that english woman that's been arrested in the occupied areas?

Shes fine.

We will always be better off however the TRNC develops because the alternative is unthinkable we will never accept a deal where we are forced to become just another minority in a GC state.
