And with Turkey officially out of the EU, well, I would then say good luck to BOTH the Greek and Turkish Cypriots on the island.

Last time I checked it was still Turkish policy to join the EU. Only they can't open any negotiating chapters as they are failing to fulfill their obligations. The only obstacle to Turkish entry is Turkey itself. What is Europe supposed to do if the Turks are too dumb to realise this?

Of course Turkey can always turn its back on Europe and be the regional leader of an anti-Western Islamist nutter alliance with its new pals Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas and Sudan. Good luck with that!

I’m the only that has been getting things right in the last 4 years because I’m the only one it seems that sticks to international law, while the rest of you assume that there is “another way”!

Got it right? What are you on about mate? Northern Cyprus is still NOT a part of the Greek Cypriot dream; the GC ROC, and it's winning more credability as time goes by. Taiwan is also NOT recognised, but still exists. The only difference is that they can trade internationally, while we are still trying to gain ours - but we soon will.

Look at it this way, if China with it's so called bad humanitarian record can ALLOW Taiwan to trade freely without forcing any embargoes or restrictions, doesn't it seem weird for such a "Democratically" visioned EU to reject what China allows? The bottom line is that YOU haven't been right, Northern Cyprus is still a separate entity and still hasn't been forced to unite with the Racist GC-ROC regardless of the many avenues the GCs have relentlessly tried over the past 4 years. Your efforts are fruitless, while the future looks bright no matter which way we turn. Kosovo is not recognised by the GC-ROC nor Greece, but it's still a functioning state - and recognised may I add, and growing, by many other nations of the EU block. The TRNC will soon have its day, and that's when I will paste my Turkish face on this Forum, sparkling with gold teeth and the TRNC flag tattooed on one side.

I'm sorry, but where are these one million people exactly? Sixty thousand Turkish Cypriots and 940,000 settlers? Is that what you're saying? Where are they all living? Do you actually live in Cyprus? The population is around 200,000 in the north, the majority of whom are Anatolian peasants.

As for the extinction of the Turkish Cypriots, well at least you can't blame the Greek Cypriots for that. Mother Turkey has done a pretty good job of clearing them all out herself. Now let's see how well the economy in the north does in the hands of a few illiterate Anatolian goat-herders.
