More enigma than joke - game show question

i meant i am starting my AS in september. i was going to take maths, ICT economics, and further maths then i realised that they were all hard courses. so i dropped furth. maths for Media Studies. do maths at Uni the government will give you lots of help ££££££

i should imagine probabilty suggests changing.

but probability suggested trabzon would beat the cypriot team, so i wouldnt put money on the outcome.

prob is but i love it. been intrested in the stock market, commodities ,intrest rates and all that since the age of 12. i am constantly thinking of ways to try and con people so Economics is a step in the right direction

You should do it if it interests you, but you have to work hard, I didn't work hard in my AS year and I didnt do well in the test, at least I don't think i did.

The answer is that you should always change doors when offered the chance by the host.

It's know as the monty hall problem

Tray a google on monty hall problem for history and explainations as to why you are better of changing doors.

Or for the lazy this is one of the more complete

I understand this, but you didnt explain it right at the start,
You forgot to mention that the game show host knew what was behind each door!
Good puzzle though, quite interesting how people think things through!
