can they live outside please and are they tame????

Before i had them they lived outside in the garden of a furniture shop so i don't see why they can't go outside. Would have to be in the shade though.
Beacause of them living outside there, they are not very tame. They have calmed down alot since i've had them. I have a dog and they're not bothered by her. They're only really bothered when i'm putting the food in or cleaning them out.
