And one final thing, im a GC but i dont feel greek at all.Actually the only reason that im calling myself GC is because i speak greek. When Greece won Euro i didnt care and i didnt celebrate on the contrary i said "oi poustokalamarades will not shut up bragging about it now" the same thing i said when u won Eurovision. The only thing i got proud of in many many years is when Anorthosis beated the Turkish team and i'm even considering changing team for that. But in no case i ever felt any proud of anything that a greek national did.
I have no problem with any GCs consdering themselves more Greeks than Cypriots if they do fine let it be, but in no way you can come in here and tell us if we should feel greek or not. This only reminds me of the biggest jerk in Cyprus history (Grivas Digenis).

What I said is that Cyprus flag is better. I didn't say anything bad about the Greek flag, its good, although it would be better without that cross.

We appreciate the many things Greece tried to do for Cyprus, and we appreciate the support of Greece. Greece can definitely count on our support also. However what you said about 74 is crap. In 1974 it was a setup against us, that unfortunately your illegal government of that time had a major share. Turks took as much as they were planning to take. If they wanted to take the whole Cyprus they would. They didn't because such action would make this harder for them later on and it was not what the UK/US wanted them to do.

1. I dont get why u refer to my abilities of using the internet all the time as if its a disgrace to use it. Also my financial abilities to buy a computer and as well as my parents abilities to finance me is again irrelevant. Also let me inform you that my parents are proud to be greek but i do not choose to follow that idea and neither do i try to change their beliefs.On the contrary im a proud Cypriot and if you dont like my belief its ur problem.

2. Im not hiding behind my computer's screen and i will pm you my address if you want to pay me a visit in the U.States or in Cyprus. Oh and if you take a look at earlier posts of mine you will find out if im 13 or not

3. I dont care about how Greece created a nation and how more successfull than other countries she was.

4. I see that you keep mentioning the fact that Greek troops were send to help us against Turks. Well my friend you wouldnt have needed to send any troops if you didnt mess us up at the first place, RIGHT???

5. I will add to piratis comment about the flag with the cross and add that since Byzantium was formed and church started playing such an important role for Hellenes thats when Greek history started going backwards.This can be easily seen from what Greeks achieved since Byzantium other than church architecture.

6. And finally the closest i can get to being a Greek is being a Mycenian so i guess i should call myself Mycenian Cypriot e

Are you aware of the cultural achievements of Byzantium? I can give you some examples if you wish.

the symbol of cross is this in what the greeks belive at 1821 and made the greek a free state...
the tripes in our military flag don't exist...
the "military flag" is the blue with the big white cross and saint geogra to kill the dragon...

as you can see our belif in christinity in almost the same with our belief in nation...

the stripes trhat you said can be alone don't mean nothing.its just nine to saw the 9 geographical parts of greece(thrace,macedonia,epirus,thessaly,central greece,pelloponisos,aigean island,ionian islands and crete)...alla those unite under the white cross...
if there wasn't the cross...this parts can be never unite...

I didn't say that I want the cross to be removed. I said that I don't like crosses and I would personally like the flag better without it.
