well I asked him and told me that you should call the court house and tell them the number of your case. If your were to get arrested you should of been arrested by now. So it's probably an increase to your fine amount

I think failure to appear in court for a traffic offence is considered a “misdemeanor” and can be punished by up to 1 year in jail!

If I were you I would go to the court’s offices first thing tomorrow morning and just tell them you forgot (made a human mistake) and that you’re very sorry, but don’t invent any stupid excuses. The officer there will tell you what to do next.

I know you’re over 18 but if you have parents/guardians here in Cyprus, take them with you because it’s in your favor to look like you have the support of a family etc, and needless to say that you should dress VERY modestly and THINK before everything you say.

If possible you should also have someone with you fluent in Greek because even though the court may be obliged to have translators during a case, the various officers you’ll be dealing with first outside the courtroom are probably not!

Good luck and have faith (in YOU).

What is this? Not even in North Korea such a thing can apply.

A crime less serious than a felony but still a crime!

I don't think you need to worry. Worst case scenario you will pay an additional fine for not showing up. Just make sure you go there tomorrow.
