My Mrs went this afternoon to the one in Palliourotissa and was not impressed at all. Very limited range of products, meaning you will still have to finish off your shopping somewhere else, so what is the point?

I agree that they , Lidl , do not carry the full range that other supermarkets carry , but this is the reason that what they carry is value for my money. My daughter went to the Limassol one today and bought essentials at massive savings , I'm not going to bore you again with the cost of baby nappies but thousands of Cypriot mothers have had to pay hitherto 15- 18 euros where at Lidd the cost 6.99 !!!
Butter , Cheese , Good French wine , cooking oil , Olive oil , chocks , coffee and much more all at very good prices.
I shall be in Cyprus tomorrow , I shall visit Carefour because I can get a good selection of fruit and veg plus ZALATINA , pickled quails eggs , which cost a bloody fortune incidentally , but will not pay the stupid prices demanded for Halloumi , eggs , Kefalotiri and other exorbitantly priced items.
I have invited ... Swashinigger to accompany me in case I come across some plonker whose name escapes me right now !!!

Lidl is for poor, sad bachelors or the recently widowed male; both of whom are pathetic shoppers!

Yes! Do you think his lovely wife would have let him shop in LIDL?

Truly, we need to take him in hand before he becomes part of the great unwashed ...
